Misty morning in a lush green clearing, rooster crows to wake up the forest. Gem-like colors and delicate brush strokes. Rare piece and nicely framed. Carlos Jean Baptiste born in Deschapelles,Haiti on August 16,1965.As a child he attended the" College La Providence",then the Lycee Alexandre Petion. He studied under Saincilus Ismael in the early eighties then briefly attended the National School For The Arts "ENARTS". Carlos is considered one of the best Haitian Painters today.He has won several prizes for his work including the Petion-bolivar Contest in which his painting "Braceros "won First Prize .He has exhibited in several countries in Europe and The Americas.
