Description:
Vintage work by surreal landscape artist. These colors pop off the canvas, full of life and texture. Dream islands are the port of call for tiny sailboats. Camille Torchon was born July 16, 1953 in Port-au-Prince. Murat Saint-Vils imaginary landscapes have been a great inspiration to this artist, but Torchon developed his own style. His paintings were shown in many countries starting in 1973. Torchon is considered a member of the Jacmel or Dream Landscape school, and is widely shown and collected internationally, particularly in Europe.
