Description:
1957 ~ 2022 Frisky blue pony prances through a surreal forest. Eric was fond of dominant colors for his paintings, such as blue or green. The foliage is reminiscent of a work by Henri Rousseau. The painting is nicely framed. Eric Jn-Louis was born in Jeremie on May 16, 1957, sadly passed away on June 18, 2022. He began to paint in 1975 in the primitive style, guided by Edward Brierre. Today, his art is more modern. Jean-Louis has received several awards in Haiti for his paintings. His works have been exhibited in the United States, Guadeloupe, Denmark, Curaçao, Switzerland, and France since 1977.
